Undeveloped.com changes to DAN.com

Undeveloped.com changes to DAN.com

One of the best platform for landing pages and a domain names marketplace, Undeveloped.com recently rebranded themselves as Dan.com

This move came as a result of recent updates in their system, which they define as “Our own blockchain network to automate all inefficient processes in the domain industry”

DAN meaning Domain Automation Network is about to bring in new changes in the domain name industry, according to them.

In an exclusive discussion with GoDomaining.com, Reza from DAN.COM further explains:

We use the blockchain to solve multiple problems.

1: In order to automate processes.

2: To create a new WHOIS where the data is irrefutable and always accurate.

3: To provide a trust-less automated escrow service where the buyer and seller can check what the “machine” has done via a public ledger.

4: To solve huge legal issues when you lease or rent a domain (in our whois 2.0 it’s clear who’s liable for the content on a domain under a payment plan)

5: To offer fractional domain ownership and a domain investment dashboard so domainers can attract capital to invest in their portfolio’s

and lastly 6: due to Domain Automation we can now scale new models like renting a domain easily.

Dan.com wanted to bring more transparency into the domain name marketplace and make it easier for businesses and individuals to find, buy and transfer domains with flexible domain purchase options, such as lease to own.

To bring greater efficiency and process automation into the domain name marketplace, Dan.com partnered with IBM and IBM Business Partner Unchain to use IBM Blockchain technology to automate previously manual processes, such as transferring a domain name from one registrar and registrant to another.

I myself have over 2,000 domain names exclusively parked at Undeveloped.com, and they do deliver good results. Hopefully, this new change in their system and the rebranding will bring about good news for all Domain name investors using Undeveloped.com aka Dan.com.
